Pantos Back Yard Shade (Scotts Valley, CA)

shade 1 shade 2

These clients had a beautiful established shady back yard but wanted their lawn removed and replaced with drought tolerant, natural looking shade plants. There are quite a few beautiful shade plants that can do well with little water once established and I utilized a number of them here such as Dietes vegata, Erigeron karvinskianus, Heuchera species, Asparagus fern, Nandina domestica, and Fragaria chiloensis (Ornamental strawberry).
