ABOUT

I have been a horticultural enthusiast for over 20 years having started my career working at various plant nurseries in the Santa Cruz area and elsewhere.  I have been designing beautiful landscapes since 2013. Having extensive knowledge in plants, garden care, structural hardscape elements, and other features as compliments to the landscape I can help clients navigate the best options and plan for an outdoor space that is right for them.

With our lack of consistent annual rainfall and snow pack here in California, I take seriously the need for a less thirsty yard. Luckily I have an abundant knowledge of a wide variety of extraordinary and interesting plants that will do well with little or no water. Although I really do love and do prefer to utilize California native plants, we have a number of other interesting plant options that are very drought tolerant that come from similar Mediterranean climates. I am also aware of and avoid using plants that are invasive and can become a problem in the future.

Most importantly, I take care in listening to my clients.  I combine my knowledge and artistic eye with their vision to create an environment for them that will bring joy and satisfaction to all that visits their garden!
